3,000 tons of gold deposit found in Sonbhadra, UP: Geological survey

Kolkata: Nearly 3,000 tonnes of gold deposits have been found in Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh, the Geological Survey of India (GSI) said on Saturday.

No such data was provided by GSI. "GSI has not assessed such huge deposits of gold in Sonbhadra district," GSI Director General (DG) M Sridhar told PTI in Kolkata this evening.
